Hi there!
I am Kayla Elisse, better known as Kayla or KJ, and I’m a portrait, headshot, and lifestyle photographer based in Houston, TX.
In college, I was THAT friend who always stopped the party for a photo-op, kept a gallery filled with thousands of pictures in my smart phone, yet never took photography serious enough. I knew I was capable of capturing quality photos, but I wanted to do it through a different lens. A few Youtube videos later, and there we had a curious girl with a DSLR in her hands!
Over the years, I’ve spent time truly getting to know how light, aperture, and ISO work together to form the most beautiful images. My clients are my favorite part.
